Burn time is approximate and will vary depending on fragrance, environment and candle care.
CANDLE CARE
A little candle care makes a big difference.
Trim your wick to approximately 5mm before each burn.
For your first burn, allow the melted wax to reach the edges of the vessel. This helps establish an even melt pool and reduce tunnelling.
For subsequent burns, burn your candle for long enough to achieve an even melt pool, but never for more than 4 hours at a time.
Keep the wax pool free from wick trimmings, matches and other debris. Allow your candle to cool completely before relighting.
Stop burning when approximately 1cm of wax remains in the bottom of the vessel.
A NOTE ABOUT SOY WAX
Soy wax can naturally develop slight frosting, colour variations or changes to the surface after burning. These are normal characteristics of soy wax and do not affect the quality, fragrance or performance of your candle.
Each SCENTUOUS candle is hand-poured, so small variations between candles are part of their handmade character.
CANDLE SAFETY
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials.
Always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface. The vessel may become hot during use — do not touch or move a burning candle or while the wax is liquid.
Keep candles away from other heat sources and never burn for longer than 4 hours at a time.
Never use water to extinguish your candle and do not use the lid to extinguish the flame.
Discontinue use when approximately 1cm of wax remains.
